Prospective Students
Come and see what sets Bayreuth apart from the rest! At the bottom of this page, you'll find an overview of the programmes our faculty offers.
However, the best way to learn more about what we have to offer is to visit Bayreuth’s campus.
While the University is in session (mid-April to the end of July and mid-October to the beginning of February), you can get a taste of the programme you are considering by attending a course. If you have questions specific to your degree programme, please contact the programme advisor, programme coordinator, or programme moderator listed in the Programme Finder (see below).
The best place for a basic overview of study opportunities in Bayreuth is the Student Advising Office. General information on Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Teacher Education programmes is available on the University of Bayreuth’s central homepage.
For prospective international students, the International Office of the University of Bayreuth offers a diverse range of support and guidance. You’ll also find important information on our Faculty’s websites.
Information Sessions
Each February, the University of Bayreuth hosts an Information Day highlighting its Bachelor’s programmes. This event provides compact information sessions on the programmes that interest you and even gives you the opportunity to sit in on lectures in certain subjects.
